Andrej is leading the bioinformatics and metabolic engineering at CyanoCapture. He is an ex-founder and CSO of a startup working on high value compounds production in cyanobacteria and holds a PhD in Systems Biology at Rockefeller University and held a postdoctorate position and was awarded a prestigious Marie-Curie fellowship. Andrej has a deep understanding of synthetic biology, data science and bioinformatics, which enables the team to make highly informed scientific and commercial decisions on which recombinant proteins we could produce in cyanobacteria and spot unexplored opportunities that are promising.
