Nick is an exited Founder and the former COO at the Native Antigen Company (2012) which manufactured antigens from pandemic viruses. The company was later acquired in 2021 by LGC for £18 million. Nick completed his PhD in Virology at the University of Birmingham and has extensive technical expertise in recombinant protein expression and engineering microorganisms. As COO, Nick takes on internal operational responsibilities at CyanoCapture and also takes Project Management responsibilities of important projects with contractors and grant-funded partners, including the COSEC Horizon project underway in Portugal.
