Siggi joined CyanoCapture in 2022 as the second FTE in the team, having previously worked at Darktrace on cybersecurity projects. Siggi is an all-round engineer with broad competencies in programming, mechatronics, mathematics and has a unique ability to solve previously unseen problems. He is responsible for lab inventions, combining his DIY skills as well as his advanced programming ability to build completely new devices from scratch that enable our scientists to conduct sophisticated experiments at a great throughput. Siggi started as an engineer building our first photobioreactor prototypes using off-the-shelf materials and Arduinos and now provides the much needed Engineering firepower to the CTO’s sub-team to develop complex high-throughput cloning and assay devices.
